Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Tiaogan Lidan recipe in the treatment of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP). Methods 82 ICP patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ursodeoxycholic aid (UDCA), and the observation group with tiaoganlidan recipe and UDCA. The serum total bile acid (TBA) level and pregnancy outcomes of the two groups were observed. Results The TBA levels of the two groups were significantly lower after than before the treatment; after the treatment, the TBA level was (16.8±3.1) mmol/L in the observation group, and was (21.7± 3.6) mmol/L in the control group, with a statistical difference (P 0.05). Conclusion Tiaogan Lidan recipe is one more method for ICP, can significantly reduce the serum TBA level, and improve the pregnancy outcomes to some extent. Key words: Intrahepatic cholestasis during pregnancy; Ursodeoxycholic acid; Tiaogan Lidan decoction
