Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of the general anesthesia combined with epidural block in opening thoracic surgery. Methods Sixty-eight patients undergoing thoracic surgery,ASAⅠ~Ⅱ were randomly assigned into two groups,i.e.general anesthesia combined with continuous epidural block group(group A) and general anesthesia group(group B).The changes of the hemodynamics was observed before anesthesia(T1),during tracheal intubation(T2),during cutting covers(T3),during tracheal extubation(T4) and 15 minutes after tracheal extubation(T5).Results To compare MAP and HR between group A and group B: there was no statistic significance(P0.05) in T1 or T5,but there is statistic significance in T2~T4(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion There is a little stress reaction during general anesthesia combined with epidural block in thoracic surgery. The patient wakes soon and extubates early.
