Efficacy of Cmbination Aorvastatin with Fnofibrate on Patients with Mixed High Cholesterol

OBJECTIVE To observe efficacy and safety of combination atorvastatin with fenofibrate on cholesterol-lowering.METHODS Patients with mixed high cholesterol were randomly divided into atorvastatin group(single group,80 cases)and combination atorvastatin with fenofibrate group(combination therapy group,82 cases),and the curative effect and adverse reaction were analyzed.RESULTS Eight weeks after treatment,the two groups of serum TC,TG and LDL level was significant difference compared with those before treatment.The HDL levels in combination group rise;The difference between the combination group and single group was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Treated after 12 months,two groups of serum TC,TG,LDL and Lp(a)levels continue to reduce,and HDL levels continue to rise.The difference of the treatment of 8 weeks and 12 weeks in both groups was statistically significant,respectively.Side effects in both groups was not statistically significant difference(P﹥0.05).CONCLUSION Compared with atorvastatin,combination atorvastatin with fenofibrate has better lipid-lowering effect.
