Abstract
Since the reform and opening up,especially after the accession to WTO,more and more Chinese enterprises are participating in overseas MA.Especially in the current global context of economic crisis and with numerous opportunities for overseas acquisitions ahead,China enterprises have set off a wave of overseas MA.However,in the overseas MA market,nearly 70% of overseas MA have failed,which is mainly attributed to many obstacles before Chinese enterprises in overseas mergers and acquisitions.It is believed that in order to improve the success rate of overseas mergers and acquisitions,it is necessary to develop internationally competitive large enterprises,enhance governmental coordination and guidance,and ensure the intellectual needs of overseas mergers and acquisitions.
