Abstract
Objective To investigate the association between the kinetic changes of high-sensitive C-reactive protein level and prognosis during the progression of Ischemic Stroke. Methods High-sensitive C-reactive protein levels of 82 patients with Ischemic Stroke and 20 healthy volunteers served as a control group were tested with immunoturbidimetric assay and were analyzed whether to correlate with severity and outcome after Ischemic Stroke. Results There was the significant correlation between high-sensitive C-reactive protein levels and severity, prognosis in patients with Ischemic Stroke.High-sensitive C-reactive protein levels in larger Infarction group was higher and lasted longer than that in middle and smaller infarction groups, the difference was Statistically significant obviously(P0.01).High levels of high-sensitive C-reactive protein inlarger infarction group indicated more severe neurologic functional impairment and worse prognosis. Conclusion High-sensitive C-reactive protein is as ignificant risk factor for severity and prognos is in patients with Ischemic Stroke. If high-sensitive Creactive protein levels are high and last long, the patients with Ischemic Stroke have unfavourable prognosis.
