Clinical Observation on the Therapeutic Effects of Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine in Patients with Chronic Gastritis:a Report of 32 Cases

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of integration of traditional and western medicine in patients with chronic gastritis.Methods:64 patients with chronic gastritis were randomly divided into treatment group(32 cases)and control group(32 cases).The control group of western medicine orally took omeprazole,amoxicillin and clarithromycin,giving metronidazole,clarithromycin and colloidal bismuth pectin for patients with amoxicillin allergy,and took domperidone according to bloated stomachs.The treatment group of western medicine received TCM syndrome differentiation on the basis of western medicine.Results:The total effective rate was 87.5% in the treatment group and 75.0% in the control group.There were significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion:Integrative treatment can improve the cure rate for chronic gastritis.
