Abstract
Objective To determine the expression of high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and complement activating marker C3a in patients with stable or unstable angina pectoris, and to investigate their roles in pathogenesis of angina pectoris. Methods The contents of serum total cholesterol,triglyceride,hs-CRP,C1 inhibition factor,C3a,C5a were determined, and the brachial artery response(BAR)were detected with brachial artery ultrasound in 88 patients with stable or unstable angina pectoris. Results The serum levels of hs-CRP and C3a in patients with unstable angina pectoris were significantly higher than those of patients with stable angina pectoris;the expression of hs-CRP was correlated to cholesterol(r=0.27,P0.05),C1 inhibition factor(r=0.41,P0.01),C3a(r=0.32,P0.01)in patients with unstable angina pectoris;while there was no significant difference in BAR between different type of angina pectoris patients. Conclusion The serum hs-CRP and C3a would be helpful for clinical diagnosis of unstable angnia pectoris.
