Abstract

Objective:To study the relationship between the expression of EGFR、VEGF and lymph node, liver metastasis of colorectal carcinoma. Methods: The immunohistochemical technique was used to test the expressions of EGFR and MMP-7 in 60 cases with colorectal carcinoma (33 cases with lymph node metastasis, 30 cases with liver metastasis). Results: Expression of EGFR、VEGF was significantly correlated with TNM stage、lymph node metastasis and liver metastasis of colorectal carcinoma (P0.05). High expression of VEGF and VEGF had positive correlation. Conclusion: The overexpression of EGFR and VEGF have the synergistic effect during the onset of colorectal carcinoma . Examination of EGFR and VEGF in primary colorectal carcinoma can help predict lymph node metastasis and liver metastasis.
