Abstract

Objective To compare the effects of α7nAChR agonist(PNU-282987) versus ulinastatin on the expressions of interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) in lung tissue of rats experienced intestinal ischemia-reperfusion.Methods 32 healthy Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 4 groups(n = 8):sham-operated group(Group S),model group(Group M),PNU-282987 treated group(Group PM) and ulinastatin treated group(Group UM).The intestinal ischemia-reperfusion model was established by clamping the superior mesenteric artery for 75 minutes and then reperfusion for 2 hours.Lung samples were collected and received pathological examination, and the expressions of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α in lung tissue were determined by ELISA.Results Compared with those in Group S,Group PM and Group UM,lung tissue injury was significantly aggravated and the expressions of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α were significantly increased in Group M(all P 0.05).There was no significant difference of these between Group PM and Group UM.Conclusions There were similar inhibitory effects of α7nAChR agonist(PNU-282987) and ulinastatin on the expressions of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α in lung tissue of rats experienced intestinal ischemia-reperfusion.
