Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the correlation between economic development and land use structure of Anhui Province. This paper applies Pearson correlation analysis to identify the relationship between economic development and dynamic relativity of land use from 1996 to 2007 in Anhui Province. The results indicate that cultivated land has a negative correlation with the rate of secondary and third industries' output in GDP per capita; while land for construction has a positive correlation. It is concluded that this study has a great significance for improving land use efficiency and achieving sustainable land use, thus promoting the steady and continuous development of economy of Anhui Province.
