Correlation Analysis of the Changes of Industrial Structure and Land Use Structure in Anhui Province

Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the correlation between industrial structure and land use structure of Anhui Province from 1996 to 2005, in order to realize the value of the macroeconomic regulation and control by mean of land effectively. Methods of Spearman and canonical correlation were applied. The results concluded that: there are normal correlations between industrial structure and land use structure and synchronous increase or decrease is shown, and the developments of the secondary industry and the tertiary industry such as construction, catering, wholesale and retail trades industry exerted great influence on the structure change of land use.
