Abstract
Maleic anhydride(MAH) grafted ethylene1-octene copolymer(POE) was prepared by reactive extrusion in twin-screw extruder.The effects of MAH,dicumyl peroxide(DCP) and EDS on grafting product were studied.The results showed that melt index(MI) decreased and grafting degree increased with increasing MAH and DCP contents.The excited state MAH was quenched with superfluous MAH content,which increased MI and decreased grafting degree.EDS would deteriorate product properties while using extruder with strong share and short residence time.Compared with traditional PA/EPDM-g-MAH,PA/POE-g-MAH had higher toughness.
