Abstract

The maleic anhydride(MAH) was employed as grafting monomer onto polyolefin(elastomer)(POE/PP) by reactive extrusion.The effects of various parameters such as contents of(initiator)(DCP) and monomer(MAH),and the categories of stoichiometric viscosity modifier on the percentage grafting were studied.The results showed that the content of initiator was the key of high degree of grafting,when the contents of initiator and MAH were 0.25% and 1.2% respectively,the grafting ratio of polyolefin elastomer approximated to 1%,and the cross-linking in the system were not obviously observed from the data of melt flow rate.Furthermore,the effects of grafted polyolefin elastomer blending with PA6 were also discussed.
