The clinical effect of anti-acne compound for acne treatment

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of gel with 5% anti-acne compound on patients. Methods At the inception of the study, 54 patients with acne vulgaris were arranged to evaluate the acne severity by GAGS and were photographed by camera EOS60d. After using the gel for 2 and 4 weeks, evaluation was taken as the first time. Subsequently, the clinical effect for 2-week treatment were compared with 4-week treatment. Results Compared with the blank, the GAGS scores,which were statistically significant(P0.05), decreased by 49.2% and 65.6% respectively after using the gel for 2 and 4 weeks; The clinical effective rate were 63.0% and 83.0% respectively,which were statistically significant(P0.05),after using the gel for 2 and 4 weeks. Conclusions Gel with 5% antiacne compound has an effective therapy of acne.
