Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the emotional status of young inpatients with cancer,study the effect of comprehensive psychological intervention on emotional status.[Methods] 62 young patients with cancer were analyzed with self-paired study,and their emotional status was evaluated with Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS).Patients were given comprehensive psychological intervention on the basis of routine treatment and nursing care.The incidence rate of anxiety and depression,and scores of SAS and SDS of patients before and after psychological intervention were observed and compared.[Results] The incidence rate of anxiety and depression in young patients with cancer was 80.65% and 74.19% respectively.The scores of SAS and SDS after intervention were significantly lower than those before intervention.[Conclusion] Young patients with cancer have obvious anxiety and depression,and the comprehensive psychological intervention can effectively improve their emotional status.
