Abstract
Objective To observe the hand hygiene executive condition of the gynecological health care workers and provide an investigating data for improving the hand hygiene knowledge understanding and implementation rate of health care workers. Methods Hand hygiene executive condition of gynecological health care workers in the second people's hospital of Guangdong province were investigated by the combination of direct observation and questionnaire survey methods. Results From May 21st to August 20th in 2012 for 92 days,there were 46 gynecological health care workers in the survey,98.3% of them washed hands according to six-step hand-washing method ofmedical personnel hand hygiene standard strictlyand the usage of disinfection and facilities reached 95% based on the observation and questionnaire survey statistics. Conclusion If the hand hygiene knowledge can be promoted completely,hand hygiene standard can be implemented strictly,regular maintenance, updating of the drug and facilities can be strengthened,the nosocomial infection rate will be reduced and hand hygiene awareness of health care workers will be improved continually.
