Abstract
Objective: To observe the dynamic changes of laboratory indexes in the chronic hepatitis B patients treated with lamivudine. Methods:986 cases of chronic hepatitis B paticnts were enrolled. 786 of them were treated with lamivudine (100 mg/d)and 200 served as control group without treatment with lamivudine. HBV-DNA, HBV-M and liver function were examinated. Results: After one-year therapy, HBV-DNA in 391 cases of treatment group turned negative(104 cps/ml)(49.7%)and 8 cases of control group turned negative (4%)(P0.01).Abnormal ALT and AST in 703 of 786 cases of treatment group turned normal(89.4%)(P0.01). HBeAg in 84 cases of treatment group turned to anti-HBe positive(19.2%)and HBeAg in 62 cases turned negative(14.2%).In control group,HBeAg of 5 cases turned negative and anti-HBe appeared(4.2%).Conclusion:Lamivudine could inhibit the replication of HBV effectively, decrease level of ALT and AST, promote conversion of HBeAg into anti-HBe.
