Clinical Efficacy of Dandengtongnao Capsule in Treating Cerebral Infarction Recovery

Objective To investigate the effect of Dandengtongnao capsule in treating the patients who were recovering from cerebral infarctionMethods Sixty patients recovering from cerebral infarction were randomly divided into 2 groups:the treatment group(treated with Dandengtongnao capsule and basic treatment,n=30),the control group(treated with basic treatment,n=30).The treatment course of two groups were 4 weeks.All patients were assessed before and after treatment with the U.S.National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Research(NIHSS) score assessment of neurologic impairment,to observe the clinical efficacy.Results Total efficiency of the treatment group was 80.00%,markedly effective rate was 16.67%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was significant(P0.05).Conclusion The treatment with Dandengtongnao capsule and basic treatment in cerebral infarction recovery had significant effect,which can significantly improve the patient's neurologic impairment.
