On the Cognitive Process of Translation from the Perspective of the Relevance Theory

Relevance theory proposed by Wilson and Sperber(Relevance Theory) aims to answer the question how to communicate and what to communicate from the communicative and cognitive perspective.E.A.Gutt has studied translation from a new perspective of relevance translation theory.Translation is a dynamic process,and the translator in the process of seeking optimal relevance is cognitive and dynamic.This paper tries to analyze translator's psychological process in translation from the perspective of the relevance theory.
