Abstract

The UV-absorption characteristics of the paeoniflorin in Paeonia lactiflora Pall were discussed,and the UV-absorption method for determination of total paeoniflorin with benzoic acid as control was developed.The regression equation was Y=0.003 24+0.107 63 c with a correlation coefficient of 0.998 85.The standard addition recovery of elements was 95.7%~102.0% and RSD was 2.57%(n=9).This method was simple,fast and accurate.
