Abstract

Objective To discuss the relationship between hyperuricemia and hypertension. Methods 820 cases who were obtained the diagnosis as hypertension were selected as test sample. The 540 healthy adults with similar age, sex and body weight index were selected as control group. The uric acid, blood glucose, total cholesterol and triglyceride were detected. Results All the data mentioned above in hypertension group were higher than those in control group. Longer history of hypertension, higher incidence rate of hyperuricemia. Conclusion The hypertension is closely related with the hyperuricemia with long history and high incidence rate.
