Cluster Analysis on Urban Competitiveness of Major Cities in Hebei Province and in China

The development of economic globalization and integration has promoted the process of urbanization,hence the measurement of urban competitiveness strength has become necessities to evaluate and improve comprehensive urban development standard.This paper analyses relative variables statistically in three aspects such as economic power,people's living standard and social power aiming to compare major cities in Hebei province with other cities in China.Then it interprets the statistical results,and concludes with some advises to improve Hebei chief cities' urban competitiveness.
