Abstract

Chinese poetry can represent the culture of the Chinese nation over five thousand years of history.Chinese translators need to focus on the purpose of the translation.The aesthetic views of western readers should be taken into serious consideration in order to help them better understand the quintessence and beauty of classical Chinese poetry.
