Abstract
The optimal conditions for the ethanol extraction of berberine hydrochloride from the leaves of Coptis chinensis were studied by singal factor and orthogonal experiment.Factors that influence the extraction were investigated, such as ethanol concentration,solid-liquid ratio, extraction times and extraction time. The optimal parameters were as follows:ratio of solid to liquid:10,ethanol concentration: 70%,extraction time:1.5 hours, and extraction times;3.2.59%alkaloid obtained under this condition, and the purity of the crystal-like extract was 78.34%.
