Abstract

In this study, the fingerprints of water extracts of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae were established using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Chromatographic separation was carried out on a Lichrospher C18 column, eluted with a gradient elution program with water-methanol as the mobile phases. The flow rate was 1 mL/min,and the column temperature was 30 ℃.The UV detection wavelength was set at 254 nm.Twelve samples of Angelicae Dahuricae collected from different areas were analyzed.13 common peaks were detected in the fingerprints and each peak was separated well. The RSD of precision, repeatability and stability of all measurements were less than 3%,which proved the HPLC method developed in this study was simple, reproducible and accurate. It can be used for the quality control of the pharmaceutical preparation of Angelica dahurica var.formosana.
