Analyses and Solutions of Some Problems in the Teaching of College English Listening

Abstract

One of the problems that plague college students in learning English is the difficulty they encounter in improving their listening. In an attempt to solve the problem, this paper analyzes the causes of students' difficulties in listening comprehension, which involve knowledge barriers and non-knowledge ones, then some effective measures are provided to improve students' listening ability and College English listening teaching as well.
