Abstract

Fanyuan A, derived from the cross and backcross of Lefeng A//(Changfeng B/Lefeng B) F4, is a WAtype indica CMS line with the characteristics of stable sterility, high combining ability, high outcrossing rate, good resistance to rice blast, good quality, fine aroma. Fanyuan A was certified in Fujian Province in 2013. The process of breeding Fanyuan A, its characteristics and breeding technology were reported in the paper.
