Inquiry into and interpretation of Liang Qichao's “A letter to the President”

is one of the most important ages in Chinese modern history for the argument about the national constitution and the rise of “Huguoyundong”. In that year, Liang chi chao was famous for his political article “Yi Zai, Suo Wei Guo Ti Wen Ti Zhe”, about which so many pursuers thought was against President Yuan Shi kai. However, my paper is about one of the private letters to which Liang wrote Yuan, and through the correct, rational interpretation, I conform its time was December and its content was about dissuasion and expectation to Yuan. So that I draw a conclusion that Liang's opposition didn't begin that article, but began December when he came to Shanhai.
