Quantitative Determination of Kakonein in Compound Geqing Ganmao Capsule by High Performance Liquid Chromatography

Abstract

Objective To determine the content of Kakonein in Compound Geqing Ganmao Capsule. Methods The high performance liquid chromatography analysis was carried out on Kromasil C18 column (250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm),The mixture of methanol-water (25∶75)was used as the mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min.The detection wavelength was at 250 nm.Results The linear range of Kakonein was 30-300 μg while the average recovery was 97.64% and the RSD was 1.33%.Conclusion The method is accurate,simple and repeatable, which can be applied to quantitative determination of Kakonein in Compound Geqing Ganmao Capsule.
