Abstract

Objective To promote early diagnosis and therapy of breast cancer,NF-κBp65、VEGF-C and VEGFR-3 in breast cancer were detected and their relationship with clinical factors were analysed. Methods Expression of NF-κBp65、 VEGF-C and VEGFR-3 in 50 cases of breast cancer and 10 cases of normal tissue were detected by the immunohistochemical staining method. Results The expression of NF-κBp65、VEGF-C and VEGFR-3 were obviously higher in the cancer group than that of in the normal group(76.0%versus 30.0%,P0.05,respectively;84.0%versus 20.0%,P0.05,Respectively;88.0% versus 20.0%,P0.05,respectively).Significant positive relationship was found between NF-κBp65 and VEGF-C,NF-κBp65 and VEGFR-3,VEGF-C and VEGFR-3(P0.05),and their expression was closely associated with lymphatic metastasis(P 0.05) but their expression was not associated with age and size of tumor(P0.05).Conclusions NF-κBp65 can up-regulate VEGF-C expression in breast cancer, resulting in lymphangiogenesis and distension in the periphery of tumor, and then enhance tumor cells metastasize to the regional lymph nodes.
