Abstract

Objective To increase efficacy of trabeculectomy. Methods 16 cases of neovascular glaucoma were treated by improved trabeculectomy combined with making medicines in the operation, diathermy on the water, suture Dismantled and so on.Results The intraocular pressure was below 2.75±0.73Kpa in 15 cases(94%)treated with this method.Of 16 cases one was 4.65Kpa,it need make medicines to keep the intraocular pressure. Conclusions Improved trabeculectomy is safe and effective in the management of neovascular glaucoma.
