Abstract

Objective To investigate clinical effect of Huaiqihuang particles in children with recurrent respiratory infection. Methods Totally 100 patients diagnosed with recurrent respiratory infection were randomly divided into experimental group(50 cases)and control group(50 cases).Experimental group was treated with routine treatment and Huaiqihuang particles, while control group was treated with routine treatment only.Observe clinical symptom and the level of immunoglobulins and lymphocyte subpopulation after treatment. Results Clinical symptom of experimental group was significantly improved while total effective rate(94.0%) was significantly higher than that of control group(78.0%)(P=0.021).Immunoglobulins and lymphocyte subpopulation(CD4+、CD3+、CD4+/CD8+) of experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusions Huaiqihuang particles can enhance the immunity of recurrent respiratory infection patients and improve treatment effect of recurrent respiratory infection.
