Abstract

【Objective】 The objective of this study was to observe the secondary follicle cycling of cashmere goat, reveal the molecule regulation of the growth of the cashmere. 【Method】 The skin slices of the adult Inner Mongolian cashmere goats were made each month in a whole year and were further photographed under light microscope after staining. 【Result】 The histomorphology of the secondary follicle of adult cashmere goat showed a periodic change within a year, and it is different in anagen, catagen and telogen. It was observed from vertical slip and longitudinal slip in April; the cells of the secondary follicles ORS regenerate, and grow down into the dermis, the hair follicles start reconstruction. The secondary follicles finish the reconstruction from August to September, and most of them enter into catagen in October. In October, the bulbar epithelial cells’ divisions ceased, and the papilla shrinks accompanied with massive epithelial cells apoptosis in hair follicles. Gradually the hair follicle moved upward, till it reaches the region nearby sebaceous gland in December and no longer vary.【Conclusion】This study illustrates the cycling of the secondary hair follicle of the adult goat and has provided more information about the cashmere goat research field.
