Mifepristone Combined with Methyltestosteronum in Treating Climacteric Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding

Objective To explore the curative effects of the combined use of mifepristone with methyltestosteronum on climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding.Methods 12.5mg Mifepristone a day and 5mg methyltestosterone a day were used daily 1 day after menses and dignostic curretage,3 month as a course.Dysfunctiond uterine bleeding and endometrial pathological changes were observed during the drug-admistering period and after the course of treatment ended.Results All the 50 cases stopped bleeding and half a year later most of them entered climacteric.Endometria recovered well and on hyperplasia take place.Conclusion Mifepristone combined with methyltestosteronum can be used to control endometrium hyperplasia and the curative effect is satisfactory.
