Clinical effect of mifepristone on climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding women and complications in 50 cases

【Objective】To explore the clinical effects of mifepristone on the climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding and the potential complications.【Methods】A total of 50 climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding patients were observed in this study and 12.5 mg mifepristone were taken every evening for six months.The condition of dysfunctional uterine bleeding and pathological changes of endometrium were observed and the changes in the hormonal levels were compared before and after the therapy.【Results】All the 50 patients manifested with decreased bleeding during and after the peroid of drug administration,and the hormonal levels except the E2 decreased significantly in all the samples.【Conclusion】Mifepristone do have the direct and obvious clinical effects to the climacteric dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
