Abstract
A system design of vehicle location terminal based on GPS and GPRS is introduced.Useing GPS satellite data receiver to receive vehicle location information, throughing single-chip computer to store and control effective information of vehicle. When the vehicle terminal receiving instructions from control center,the vehicle location information is transmitted through GPRS. Hardware circuits design of the vehicle terminal is discussed in detail, including the module of control, satellite location of GPS,wireless transmission of GPRS and so on. The experiment shows that the system can work stably, communicate efficiently and cost low-power, and is suitable for application in the field of vehicle location monitoring.
