Abstract
To improve urban vehicle management level,GPS,GPRS and single chip of C8051F series are used to build a vehicle terminal monitoring system.The controller module,GPS receiving module and GPRS wireless communication module are designed according to the condition of gathering vehicle state information.Then C language is used to implement the software development on vehicle terminal,including the functions such as receiving,processing and transmission of signaling and GPS data,GPRS module data transmission and communication,I/O port message gathering and control.The system can be applied in intelligent transportation,logistics management and special purpose vehicle monitoring,scheduling,and so on.
