Abstract

OBJECTIVE To observe the rescue effects of cefoperazone/sulbactam against serious Carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii pneumonia. METHODS The clinical data of 82 serious carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii pneumonia cases were analyzed and antibiotic susceptibility were perforned. All the patients were administrated with cefoperazone/sulbactam. RESULTS The total efficacy rate of cefoperazone/sulbactam was 72.0 %,The drug related adverse events was 1.2%.All 228 strains were multi-drug resistant A.baumannii,(MDR-ABA)The lowest resistance rate of Carbapenem-resistant A.baumannii the antimicrobial agents was to cefoperazone/sulbactam(7.9%),The Susceptible rate and intermediary rate of carbapenem-resistant A.baumannii was to cefoperazone/sulbactam was 47.8% and 44.3%,The resistance rate to other antimicrobial agents was to more than 50.0%. CONCLUSION The study shows that cefoperazone/sulbactam is effective in treating serious carbapenem-resistant A.baumannii pneumonia.
