Abstract
Objective To investigate the chemical constituents in the n-butanol extract of Rannunculus chinensis Bunge.Methods The compounds were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 coupled with preparative silica gel TLC.Their structures were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical properties and spectral data.Results Nine compounds were isolated from this extract and their structures were identified as p-hydroxybenzoic acid(1),caffeic acid(2),tachioside(3),osthole(4),anthraquinone(5),emodin(6),1,7-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-2-methylanthraquinone(7),β-stigmasterol(8)and ursolic acid(9).Conclusion Compounds 3、4、5、7 were obtained from this plant for the first time.
