Abstract

Objective:To explore university students' state of mental health so that mental health education and psychological counseling can be carried out accordingly.Method: SCL-90 is used to test 4966 freshmen's mental health.Results:The overall level of mental health of this group is higher than that of the Chinese norm and the prevalence of mental diseases is 2.3%.Mental health level of male students is higher than that of female students;the level of private independent college students is higher than that of public college students;the level of science students is inferior to that of students majored in art and physical education,while is higher than that of students majored in liberal art.
