A Survey of Mental Health Level of Freshmen in Higher Vocational College

In order to understand the mental state of the freshmen in higher vocational college,the university student personality questionnaire was used to measure 4414 freshmen in Grades 2004-2007 of a higher vocational college in Guangzhou.It is found in the overall level of mental health,between the freshmen of 2007 and those of 2004,2005 and 2006 are significant difference,and in gender,family,hobbies,suicide ideation,mental health consciousness and other aspects,there are some differences.The overall mental health level of the freshmen in higher vocational college freshmen on the decline;the mental health level of students with problem families is inferior to those with less-problems families;the mental health of students with hobbies superior to students with less interests;the students with suicide ideation have more serious problems in the mental health level;the mental health consciousness degrees of students range.
