Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical application of ultrasound guided Mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system in resection of benign breast mass. Methods The operations and biopsy for 896 breast lesions in 560 patients were performed by ultrasound guided Mammotome system. Results All of breast masses were resected safely and completely. The average incisions were 20 times and the mean operative time was 25 min. The length of incision was only 0.2~0.3 cm. No operative complications were found. Conclusion It is simply,accurately,safely,and minimally invasive procedure to resect benign breast mass by ultrasound guided Mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system,and which is a useful minimally invasive operation method.
