Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical application of ultrasound guide mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system in resection of benign breast mass. Methods The operations and biopsy for 172 breast lesions in 156 patients were performed by ultrasound guided mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system. Results All of breast mass were resected safely and completely. The average incisions were 20 times and the mean operative time was 30 min.The length of incision was only 0.3-0.5 cm.9 cases with 0.3 cm minuteness scar on skin puncture locate were found,5 cases with local light gore were found,3 cases with excise focus amass were found. No activity bleeding, infection, and other operation complications were found. Conclusion It is simply, accurately, safely, and minimally invasive procedure to resect benign breast mass by ultrasound guide mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system, and which is a useful minimally invasive operation method.
