Abstract
Objective To study the protective effect of Ruanjian hugan tablet(RJHGT) on acute hepatic injury induced by carbon tetrachloride(CCl4) in mice and its mechanism. Methods CCl4 was given by intraperitoneal injection to establish acute hepatic injury model. Thereafter, blood was detected the activities of ALT, AST, AKP and T-AOC in serum; Liver homogenate was measured the content of MDA, GSH and the activities of SOD, GSH-PX.Results RJHGT can lessened the degree of hepatic injury. Compared with the model group, the activities of AST, ALT,AKP and the content of MDA in the treatment groups were decreased; while the ability of T-AOC, the content of GSH and the activity of SOD and GSH-PX were increased(P0.0l or P0.05).Conclusion RJHGT has protective effect on acute liver injury induced chemically. The mechanism may be related to inhibiting the effect on lipid peroxidation.
