Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of Hugan Jiangmei(HGJM) oral medicinal liquid on chronic liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride(CCl4) in mice. Methods:The levels of aminotransferase(ALT and AST) in serum and liver tissue damage were determined for evaluating the effect of HGJM on CCl4 induced chronic hepatic fibrosis in mice. Results:Oral administration of HGJM decreased ALT,AST level in serum and ameliorated the liver tissue damage induced by CCl4.Conclusion:HGJM had protective effect on mouse chronic liver injury induced by CCl4.
