DESCRIPTION OF FOUR NEW SPECIES OF LASIOHELEA (DIPTERA: CERATOPOGONIDAE) FROM SOUTHWEST CHINA

This new species somewhat resembles Lasiohelea caesariata Debenham and La.longineura Saunders, but distinctly different from the allied species in the following characters: The maxillary palp without sensory pore; the aedeagus provided with slender hook-likeapical process.Holotype ♂, light trap: Leshan(29. 6°N., 103. 7°E. ), Sichuan Province. 5-Ⅷ1978, collected by Yu Yixin.2. Lasiohelea hombea, sp. nov. (fig. 2)The male of this new species is somewhat allied to Lasiohelea uncusipenis Yu et Zhang,but distinctly different in AR and aedeagus.Holotype ♀, allotype ♂, Changning(28. 6°N., 104. 9°E. ) Sichuan Province. Ⅷ1978, Collected by Yu Yixin.3. Lasiohelea oreita, sp. nov. (fig. 3)This new species is somewhat related to Ansfohelea humilavolita Yu et Liu, but thisspecies is larger, and different from the related species in the abdominal segment 8 of femalewithout bat-like scleronization on sternite.Holotype ♀, Nujiang (25. 8°E., 98. 8°E. ) and paratype 1 ♀ from Xichou (23. 4°N.,104. 6°E. ), Yunnan Province. 4-IV-1989, collected by Liu Jinhua.4. Lasiohelea mengi, sp. nov. (fig. 4)This species is closely similar to Lasiohelea mixta Yu et Liu, but they are quite distinctive from each other in maxillary segment 3 and buccal armature of female.Holotype ♀, Taizhong moutain, Cona(2800～3000m alxitude).Allotype ♂ and paratypes 1 ♀ 3 ♂♂, Songdiuluo River, Cona(27. 9°N., 91. 4°E. ).19-V-1988, collected by Liu Kangnan.All types are deposited in the Medical Entomoloty Collected Gallery, (20 Dongda ne,Fengtai, Beijing 100071, China).
