Application of vacuum sealing drainage in 42 patients with referectory pressure sores

Abstract
To investigate the effectiveness of vacuum sealing drainage(VSD) in patients with referectory pressure sores, the VSD was applied in 42 patients. The healing rate was 34.17% and 51.35% after two and four weeks of treatment,respectively. The infection control rate was 55.17% after two weeks of treatment,which was higher than that of conventional wound care. Therefore,VSD is proved to be effective in patients with referectory pressure sores,which is deserved to be spread in clinical practice.
