Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of early psychological and rehabilitation intervention on the quality of life and mental health in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods 352 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly enrolled into intervention group(176 cases) and control group(176 cases). The control group was given conventional therapy, while the intervention group received early psychological and rehabilitation intervention in addition to the conventional therapy. The quality of life index(QLI) and Barthel index(BI) were used to assess the quality of life before and 3 months after treatment.SCL-90 was used to assess the mental health. Results The scores of QLI and BI in the intervention group were significantly higher than in the control group(P0.001).Each score of SCL-90 had difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Early psychological and rehabilitation intervention are effective in prompting mental health and life satisfaction in patients of acute cerebral infarction.
