An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Inbound Tourism and Economic Growth in Gansu Province

Using cointegration analysis,and based on the years of 1980-2007 data,the ralationship between the inboune tourism and the economic growth in Gansu were discussed.The result shows that a stable positive equilibrium relationship exist between the inbound tourism development and the economic growth in the long-term,the short-term undulation among the variables were explained by the ECM.
