Abstract
A new catalytic spectrophotometric method for determination of trace nitrite was developed based on the catalytic effect of NO-_2 to the oxidation of scarlet 3B by potassium bromate in H_3PO_4 medium. The detection limit is 1.36×10 -3 μg/mL in the linear range of 0.012—0.080μg/mL with the recoveries between 98.8%—101.0%.The method was applied to direct determination of nitrite in water with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
